I represented the Law Faculty of UiTM Shah Alam to present a concept paper on the second day of the National Postgraduate Seminar 2010 (NAPAS 2010) 6-7 July at Grand BlueWave Hotel, Shah Alam, Selangor. 2nd National Postgrad Legal Research Colloquium June 22, 2010

I attended the colloquium on 21st and 22nd of June 2010 at Universiti Utara Malaysia, SIntok Kedah. I presented a paper entitled: Legal Implications of Courtroom Technology in Malaysia on the first day of the event. The moderator was En. Md Rejab from UUM, and the assessors were Assoc Prof Dr Haydar of UiTM and Assoc Prof Dr Juriah from IIUM. I received a number of constructive comments, and I trust the comments would be for the improvement of my research. Some of the comments include:
1. To narrow the scope of the study

I presented a poster at the Asian Law Institute Conference 2010 at International Islamic University Malaysia on 25-26 May 2010. This is the first time I actually present part of my research with the intent to introduce myself to the industry and also to assess the feedback from the visitors to my poster. Law Postgraduate Colloquium organised by Law Faculty, UiTM Shah Alam October 3, 2009

Today the Law Faculty, UiTM Shah Alam organised its 1st Law Postgraduate Colloquium. And I happen to be one of the presenters during the colloquium, together with another 7 colleagues, 3 at the PhD level and 4 at the Masters level.

The event is held at the auditorium, Chempaka building, Law Faculty from 9 am to 1.30 pm. It is smooth sailing, and the assessors are critical and helpful in asking questions and assessing the presentation of the researchers.

I am glad to be able to present my PhD research progress report for the first time since I registered, and I have obtained fruitful input from the assessors for my research on application of ICT in the courtrooms. On this note, I also believe the other researchers are also appreciative of the input by the assessors.
