The Malaysian courts would take another leap into the technological phase, with the proposed launching of the audio conference system at the courts in Kuala Lumpur. Audio conference is where the parties relevant to the case would be able to communicate with each other via fixed line or mobile phone without being physically present at one place. I was in Kuching, Sarawak from the 4th until the 8th of October 2010, visiting the Kuching Courts Complex. My aim for the visit was to witness the technologies being used at the courts, and talk to some people who are familiar with the integrated courts system adopted there.
